THEY CALL ME "CAMERA GIRL".

For a little over two years, I've had the pleasure of working with the football team, from following around players at practice for mic'd up segments to traveling with them to all of their games. Although I have built relationships with the team and staff, there always seems to be nickname that sticks each year and that name is "camera girl". On the field, there's never a time you see me without a camera. During football season, you can find me on the sidelines interacting with the student section, getting ready for post-game interviews, filming highlights, and shadowing sideline reporters and photographers. Having this experience has continued and contributed to my love for sports and made me realize that I have a future in this industry.

My relationship with the team grows each year. From witnessing their resilience throughout the season as they won their fourth consecutive state championship to funny talks after practice, this season specifically has impacted me and I know I will treasure for a lifetime. The friendships I've made I am truly grateful for. From coaches like head coach, Mark Freeman, Coach Fuqua, and more to players like Dante Hunt, Seth Hampton, Jeffrey Kimochu, and the list goes on, have continuously supported me each season and given me the opportunity to expand my interest in sports. I am honored to have worked with this team who I've learned a lot from, who have embraced me with open arms, and continued to want the best for me. Thompson Football will always have my heart and I wish the best for seasons to come.
